{ We currently have available memberships } To join the Angier Pool (also known as the Angier Recreation Club) you will need to purchase a Membership for $400.00 (one-time fee), and pay annual Dues of $400.00. We do provide financing options for the Membership Fee which is spread evenly over three years, but we do not offer financing for the Annual Dues. To become a member please review the Purchase Pool Certificate packet below. Once you have decided to pursue a Pool Membership, complete the online form OR send an email to angierpool@gmail.com with the Member Contract Form and Purchase Pool Certificate attached. The New Membership Board Member will help you coordinate your payments and membership paperwork.
Pool Memberships are intentionally limited so that Pool Membership Owners have ample access to the facilities.
When the pool is at maximum Membership, you can join the waitlist and you will be contacted as soon as a membership certification is vacated. While you wait, you can request to join the Angier Pool Facebook page. All final sales of certificates must be approved by the Board.
When your household no longer desires to use the pool, there are three different ways to leave the pool. Please use the form below OR contact angierpool@gmail.com to make your desire to sell back/transfer/surrender known.
1) SELL BACK: You can sell your certificate back to the Angier Recreation Club for $200. This will nullify any rights you have to the Angier Recreation Club as a member and will terminate your certificate and any rights you have for further financial gain based off the future selling of your certificate. All owed dues must be paid before a share can be sold back to the pool.
2) TRANSFER: You can sell this certificate to another family seeking membership by taking on full responsibility of moving the certificate to the new family after approval from the Board of Directors. Both parties of this membership-transfer must complete the necessary forms and follow the outlined procedures for this type of transfer to become valid. Yearly dues are still due from the original owner until the completed transfer is made. All owed dues must be paid before a share can be transferred.
3) SURRENDER: If you no longer desire to maintain your membership or use the pool or if you do not want to pay dues or make your certificate current, you can surrender the certificate to the Board of Directors You will receive no reimbursement for this surrender.
A membership will be declared null and void when the amount of back dues owed is equal to or greater than the book value of the share, which is currently $400.00. When that point is reached, your share will be terminated by the Angier Recreation Club, Inc. and you will lose your rights to both your certificate and the Angier Recreation Club.
